Our comment for this year’s theme:

Bosniaks testify that there is nothing worth glorifying except the Lord of all worlds, the Lord of life and human destinies. Our entire Bosniak nation is inextricably linked to that faith in the Oneness of the Creator, which showed us the goodness of life, and told us that life should be invested in doing good to people, not harming them. That faith in God strongly binds Bosniaks together in one nation, no matter where they live today.

Our 2022 literary contest for the “Isnam Taljić” award wants to use this theme to encourage the participants of this year’s contest to think and write in a free form and through that testify about that common Bosniak faith. It is that faith that binds us together as one old European nation, steadfast in its mutual love for each other and solidarity based on equality and justice; a nation that testifies that goodness is the purpose of becoming, whether in one’s own country, in the homeland or in the diaspora.

This literary contest, as all the previous we organized, is again open to all people of good will and kind intentions.
